LAKE FOREST, Calif. (Jan. 19, 2017) – Ellison Educational Equipment, Inc., the pioneer of creative die-cutting products for the classroom, is proud to announce its newest collection of dies designed to complement curriculum for all grade levels.
The Spring 2017 release features 24 new SureCut™ dies that will inspire creativity in the classroom. The wide variety of designs includes fun projects for students, like a basket of carrots, a bookworm that is assembled on a pencil, animal finger puppets and books shaped like a butterfly and a dinosaur. New tools for educators include the innovative Fraction Triangles set, plus essentials for bulletin boards and classroom décor and award certificate embellishments that are perfect for the end of the school year.
Also part of the Spring release are 15 new Bigz™ dies from sister craft brand, Sizzix®, including 6 designs based on the hand-drawn artwork of Laura Kelly. This charming collection features an octopus, a seahorse and a shark, along with additional sea creatures that will complement any ocean-themed curriculum. Other designs in the release include adorable Fox and Owl corner bookmarks, new banners and photo props, and a set of chess pieces that will encourage kids to learn this classic game of strategic thinking.
Bigz dies are compatible with the Ellison SuperStar®, Ellison Prestige® Pro and Ellison SuperStar Excel machines, while SureCut dies work seamlessly with the Prestige Pro and SuperStar Excel machines. The steel-rule blade inside both dies cut a variety of materials including cardstock, fabric, foam, leather and magnet.
The new collection of classroom dies is available now and in the 2017 Ellison Education Spring Catalog Supplement.
