When did you join the Ellison team?
I joined the Ellison team in September 2016.
What is your role and what does it entail?
My role is a Sales and Marketing Team Leader. My team is responsible for distribution, key accounts, Sizzix.com, independent retailers and education sales for both B2B & B2C.
What are the highlights of your role?
I get to work with my team developing different support programs to help grow both Ellison and other businesses. It’s exciting to see the growth and development, their success is our success.
What makes your role unique?
As I work with independent retailers, I attend customer events and trade shows that help support their business. I’m amazed how many projects can be created from a couple of dies and accessories, the ideas are endless. Between our creative team and our customers, I’m surrounded by such creative and talented people
What are your top tips for effective communication with stakeholders?
Always be available to respond to their requests and make sure to share information no matter how unimportant it may seem.
If you could spend one day working in another part of the business, which department would you choose and why?
I would enjoy working in the Product Development area researching new products to add to the company portfolio. I’m intrigued by the entire product development process, learning about new product trends & technologies to creating prototypes and researching suppliers to negotiating the best price from the right supplier partner.
