As a bit of light relief during the heatwave we experienced at the end of July, we decided by popular opinion to create our own ice cream parlour! We frequently hold office fundraiser events such as this in order to raise money for our local charity, Nightingale House, whilst allowing us to bring joy to the office!
Pictured below is our Ice Cream Parlour before the large queue hit, featuring die-cut bunting and handmade décor.
For one day only, a team of ice cream servers (from our marketing department) delivered ice creams to sweet-toothed employees.
Flavours on sale included vanilla, mint chocolate chip, raspberry ripple, chocolate as well as dairy free options!
Gathering a range of yummy toppings, the options included sugar waffles, chocolate chips, marshmallows, flakes, Oreos and so much more! Everyone loved being able to create their own tasty masterpiece.
In total, our Ice Cream Parlour raised a great £110.55! We even had some ice cream left over, so rather than letting it melt and go to waste, we delivered it to a local business who were very appreciative of the kind gesture in the heat we were experiencing!
This just goes to show how holding an impromptu fundraiser at work can make a really positive impact and a lot of people very happy!
