Here at Ellison, we set ourselves a challenge to raise some vital funds to support UNICEF in their fundraising efforts for the war Ukraine. UNICEF support children and families in desperate need of safety, stability, and protection.
We set ourselves a target to get outside away from our workstations to collectively walk the length of Ukraine which is 346.4 miles. Together our global teams managed to walk a total of 348.28 miles.
Over in our USA office, Cornhole is a very popular sport where participants throw corn-filled bags at wooden Cornhole boards to score as many points as possible during their turn. So, we decided to host a Cornhole tournament in both our USA and UK office.
For our team members to participate in the above challenges, we asked for a small donation to be given and together we raised $357 in our USA office and £460 in our UK office.
As a company donation Ellison has matched the fundraising amounts our teams have raised so our overall fundraising amounts are now at $731 in our USA office and £920 in our UK office.
