The Ellison team recently launched our first ever Sizzix University sessions, to further inspire and educate all of our team members on our key Sizzix products, with a focus on new and upcoming releases. The university comprises of a collection of online documents, videos and quizzes in addition to valuable in person sessions with an expert from our design team. The university sessions gives all of our team members the opportunity to learn more about our products including insights into how and why they were developed, as well as top tips from our creative designers.
Our first sessions have included a hands-on education experience of some of the newest tools to the Sizzix collection including the Stencil & Stamp Tool, our 3 new Craft Multi-Tools, as well as Flower Making following the success of Flower Making at our recent trade shows earlier this year. Hosted by Sizzix designers Pete Hughes and Jessica Slack, these sessions allow employees to get hands on experience as well as the chance to ask questions and learn in a creative environment.
Rebecca Jones, Office & Events Manger said: “I am thrilled to have launched our brand-new initiative of the Sizzix University. It is great to see our teams come together to learn more about our fantastic new releases and see everyone thoroughly enjoying their sessions.”
Pete Hughes, one of our Creative Designers that hosted some of our Stencil and Stamp Tool sessions said: “We had so much fun! I was really pleased with how well everyone’s projects turned out! It really highlighted the accessibility of the tool.”
Future planned sessions allow our teams to be fully appraised of releases much further ahead of launch to be able to support customers through their pre-ordering and decision making.
