We recently held a Coffee and Craft morning on behalf of our local charity, Nightingale House Hospice!
We raised over £50 for the charity, which was held at Caffi Cwtch, Nightingale House’s own café which is run by volunteers. Creative Designer, Leanne Rowlands lead the making workshop where visitors created their very own floral headband using our Sizzix Big Shot machines and a selection of dies.
The money was raised for the charity through donations from the workshop visitors and through the coffee and cake sold on the day. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the café and enjoyed seeing all the visitors having fun crafting!
The money will go to help fund the Nightingale House Hospice which will contribute to the Hospice’s yearly running costs. The charity provides specialist palliative care services free of charge to our surrounding areas. This includes a 12 bed inpatient ward, a 15 patient day care unit, an outpatient clinic and occupational and other complementary therapy services. They also provide bereavement support services to children, young adults and adults in the area.
