Die-cutting leader adds nineteen versatile designs to inspiring quilting line
LAKE FOREST, Calif. (Oct. 23, 2015) – Continuing to explore new creative options, Sizzix® is debuting a fresh quilting die assortment for its fabi™, Big Shot™ Plus and Big Shot Pro die-cutting machines. The latest 19 dies will be unveiled at the International Quilt Market Show in booth #213 at the George R. Brown Convention Center, October 24-26, in Houston, Texas.
On Friday before the show officially opens, attendees can enjoy Schoolhouse Series classes taught by Sizzix licensed designers Victoria Findlay Wolfe™ Quilts and Kerry Goulder of Kid Giddy® fame at 12:10 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. respectively, as well as partake in a sample spree of new products from 7 – 9 p.m.
Leading the exciting product collection are Bear Cub, Bird & Egg and Fox designs from Kid Giddy. These steel-rule dies cut designs from fabric to create plush animals, perfect for gift giving or as home décor, and the Fox complements the Doll design from the previous Spring release for additional creative possibilities.
Findlay Wolfe presents Bow Tie, Rocking the House and Square Dance piecing patterns, while Missouri Star Quilt Company offers Circle Magic and Large Simple Wedge designs, all ideal for avid quilters. Sizzix designer Jorli Perine charms with Flower Wheel, Flip-flop, Starfish and Seal appliqué designs for pillows, table runners and more.
An assortment of 18 Bigz dies and an Originals die precisely and quickly die-cut up to 8 layers of fabric at a time using its steel-rule blade. The Bigz dies are available standard, L, XL, XL 25″, Plus and Pro sizes.
Additional Sizzix offerings include Anchor, Circle and Umbrella shapes for appliqué projects, a Honeycombs & Squares design for English Paper Piecing and a Diamond die for traditional quilting use. Baby bib and shoe designs complete the product offering as sentimental handmade creations.
“Sizzix is excited to continue our strong tradition of offering splendid piecing and appliqué dies that quilters can use to create an array of inspiring handmade projects,” said Linda Nitzen, Sizzix Quilting Manager.
