ELLISON UNVEILS NEW CORPORATE VISION AND LOOK
Ellison Expression Gallery Highlights Past, Present and Future
of Ellison
LAGUNA BEACH, Calif. (October 25, 2004)
- Ellison unveiled its new corporate vision and updated look during
the first ever Ellison Expression Gallery at the Surf & Sand
Resort in Laguna Beach, California on October 21-22, 2004. The event
offered media representatives and key business partners an introduction
to members of the Ellison “family” and highlighted the
new corporate direction.
Details on new initiatives within the fashion, home décor
and digital industries provided attendees with a practical understanding
of Ellison’s industry position and relevance. Transitioning
Ellison’s hand-operated die-cutting machines to these new
markets, Ellison demonstrated the various ways their products can
be used with emerging digital technology, as well as for designing
unique clothing and home décor.
Media outlets and key partners in attendance included CNA, Creating
Keepsakes, Memory Makers, PaperKuts, Rubber Stamper, Simply Sentiments,
Expression, Sportswear International, Shop at Home, Epson, Magical
Impressions and Lasting Impressions.
“We were honored to host such a diverse and distinguished
group from many industries who traveled from all over the country
to learn more about Ellison,” said Lisa Corcoran, CEO of Ellison.
The interactive event included presentations from key Ellison executives,
creative expression exercises and a digital workshop conducted by
Epson as part of a newly forged strategic alliance. Also, a diverse
range of projects representing each of Ellison’s new initiatives
including clothing, artwork, traditional/digital keepsakes and educational
projects were displayed in the Expression Gallery.
As a part of the company’s new corporate direction and vision
for the future, Ellison announced the launch of its new corporate
Web site, corp.ellison.com.
The Ellison Expression Gallery also provided a timely opportunity
to honor Ellison’s founders, Bob and LaDorna Eichenberg. In
particular, the Eichenbergs’ tireless dedication to the company,
which they launched more than 25 years ago, was recognized as a
key to Ellison’s success and steady growth.
