ELLISON TO OFFER EXCLUSIVE DEWEY DOO-IT LESSON PLANS FOR TEACHERS

Interactive Teacher's Kits blend music, art and character building

LAKE FOREST, Calif. (September 1, 2005) - Ellison, the leading manufacturer of hand operated die-cutting machines, is pleased to announce its exclusive distribution rights of specially designed Teacher's Kits for the award winning "Dewey Doo-it" series of children's books and CDs. With the help of Dewey Doo-it and his helpful band of "Doo-its," Ellison will offer through its retail site and catalog these unique educational aids to teach children K-3 about the value of helping others.

Available October 15, Teacher's Kit, Volume 1, “Dewey Doo-it Helps Owlie Fly Again,” will help children learn about selflessness, kindness and compassion when welcoming those with physical challenges into their peer group. This kit will include an audio CD with nine original songs by Tony Award Winners Mandy Patinkin and Bernadette Peters along with a special musical performance by celebrity spokesperson Dana Reeve, wife of the late Christopher Reeve.

Teacher’s Kit, Volume 2, “Dewey Doo-it Feeds a Friend,” and Volume 3, “Dewey Doo-it Builds a House” will also be available in October. Along with the kits, Ellison is offering coordinating Dewey Doo-it character dies that can be used with the new Ellison AllStar Machine.  At an MSRP of only $15 per die, students can easily die-cut and uniquely embellish any of the Doo-it characters.

Available at a low MSRP of $29.95 per kit, or $74.95 for the value pack that includes all three volumes, each Teacher's Kit will include a full-color, hardcover book. In addition to the book, teachers will have access to coordinating lesson plans that include 11 comprehensive exercises, a celebrity music CD, 90 special Dewey stickers and 30 “Helpful Doo-it” diplomas. As an added bonus, the Teacher's Kits will include a activity-helping box to provide teachers and students with an opportunity to win a grant for their school. A portion of all proceeds of Dewey Doo-it Teacher's Kits will be donated to selected non-profit organizations.
