SIZZIX CELEBRATES ITS 4TH BIRTHDAY WITH THE RELEASE
OF EXCITING NEW PRODUCTS AT CHA SUMMER

LAKE FOREST, Calif. (July 15, 2005) – Ellison, the leading manufacturer of hand-operated die-cutting machines, is giving crafters more reasons to celebrate during its popular craft brand's 4th birthday bash! At the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) trade show in Chicago, July 15 – 17, Sizzix proudly presents its latest offerings of sizzling new Sizzix Originals Dies, Alphabars, Sizzlits and dozens of new Simple Impression Embossing Folders for crafters of all levels to enjoy.

Among the most highly anticipated releases are Cuts-n-Folds, which are Originals Dies with crease rule, allowing crafters to cut and crease their die-cuts in just one easy step. With 17 fresh, new designs to choose from, these new dies allow crafters to die-cut Boxes, Envelopes and Cards for the very first time with their Sizzix Machine. Cuts-n-Folds are available for the low MSRP of $14.99.

"By using the patented technology from our Ellison designer brand, we have created the new line of Cuts-n-Folds Originals Dies," said Lisa Corcoran, CEO of Ellison. "This line will empower our customers to express their creativity in bold, creative ways not available from Sizzix previously."

In addition to Cuts-n-Folds, Sizzix introduces 21 stunning additions to its line of Cuts. These “cutting-edge” designs include various Tags, as well as the new Paper Sculpting Dies that are simply die-cut and easily bent into shape for an exciting, third dimension. (Die-cuts are traditionally limited to one or two dimensions.)

Sizzix is also releasing doodle Dots and Vowel Play Alphabars Alphabet Sets for use with the Sizzix Machine. Each set includes two to four characters per die and a frame design featuring both a positive and negative image, providing another great value at the low starting MSRP of $64.99 per set.

Compatible with both the Sizzix Machine and Sidekick, Sizzix is extending its line of Sizzlits Alphabet Sets. Crafters will have plenty of creativity to draw upon with the Notepad Alphabet Set and are sure to come back for more with the Round-a-Bout Alphabet Set. Each complete alphabet set comes with 35 individual dies, including uppercase, lowercase, numbers and punctuation in a handy storage case for an exceptional MSRP of $149.99.

Dozens of new embossing designs from Sizzix, including exotic Chinese characters, traditional and funky dominoes and postmarks from around the world are among the breakthrough designs introduced to the Simple Impressions collection. Each new design is available at a low MSRP of $8.99.
