Rachael has loved art & design for as far back as she can remember. Born and raised in Southern California, Rachael grew up on the beach, sailing back and forth from Catalina Island. She has a passion for animals and says they seem to find her "like Ace Ventura" if they need help or a home. She loves hiking with friends and spending time with her dish-washing, rescue dog, Lily. She loves to travel (nine countries and counting!) and once attended university in Paris, France.

Rachael says, "I just love my job as a Sizzix designer and working in such a creative atmosphere. It's a dream come true for me and I hope our customers feel that 'Joi de Vivre' when they use my designs."
