BLING ON THE NEWEST JEWELRY DESIGNS!

Art metal and die-cutting come together for more personalized jewelry

LAKE FOREST, Calif. (January 29, 2012) – Now into their second combined release, the Vintaj Natural Art Brass Metal Company and Sizzix™ have unveiled even more amazing Vintaj® Dies for the Sizzix® BIGkick™ Machine (Vintaj™ Special Edition). With these latest additions to an already comprehensive line of designs, crafters will be able to create many breathtaking jewelry applications by etching or embossing beautiful patterns onto different shapes of Vintaj natural brass art metal blanks. These newest designs can be previewed by retailers at the Craft and Hobby Association (CHA) Winter trade show January 29 – February 1, 2012, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.

The newest DecoEtch™ Dies showcase fantasy and freehand fun with designs such as Fairy Twilight, Mermaid Waves, Tulip Garden and Lowercase Handwriting – all ready to make their mark onto different shapes of Vintaj blanks. Each die (2 3/8" x 2 5/8") instantly etches, without the use of chemicals, countless combinations of intricate patterns onto the blank. In contrast, eight more DecoEmboss™ Dies (2 3/8" x 2 1/2") – many with flowery themes and even a Lowercase Typewriter font – easily create an array of elegant embossed impressions onto an assortment of Vintaj blanks. Both DecoEtch and DecoEmboss dies can be used to create or decorate unique metal embellishments for personalized projects such as jewelry, cards, scrapbook pages, boxes or frames.

To highlight the raised areas of the blank, crafters can use the Vintaj Metal Reliefing block. For different design possibilities with a DecoEmboss Die, the metal blank is placed onto varying areas of the die with each use. (This gives the added benefit of more even wear).

The new dies work with the Vintaj Special Edition BIGkick Machine (12 1/4" x 6" x 14 1/2") when the Solo Platform & Shim (included with purchase of Machine) are used. In addition to performing these metal embossing and etching techniques, the BIGkick cuts and embosses everything from cardstock to fabric and works with most products in the Sizzix library for endless combinations of creativity.

Immediately applying her talents, Jess began implementing a campaign to reach beaders all over the world. The three artisans incorporated in 2005 and through their combined efforts, Vintaj Natural Brass Co. was born.
